Radarlo is an informational application designed for road safety and speed limit awareness. Using publicly available data and community contributions, it displays fixed radar/EDS locations and speed limits. The Service is provided as-is, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Radarlo is not a navigation system; it does not replace observing posted speed limits and traffic signs.
You retain copyright in reports, photos, and comments you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use such content to operate, improve, and market the Service. EXIF location metadata is stripped from photos at upload.
In some countries radar-warning applications are legally restricted or prohibited. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws of the country in which you use the Service.
Germany
Under § 23 Abs. 1c StVO, a driver may not operate or keep a radar-warning app usable while driving. Radarlo disables radar location content on IPs detected in Germany.
Switzerland
Under Art. 57b SVG, radar-warning devices are banned. The Service is restricted in Switzerland.
France
Under Code de la route R413-15, precise radar locations may not be published; only "danger zone" information is shown.
Other restricted countries
Belgium, Portugal, Cyprus and others may impose additional constraints; appropriate disclaimers apply.
Radar data is provided for informational purposes, is not an official source, and cannot be guaranteed to be fully accurate. Radarlo is not liable for fines, accidents, or material/moral damages arising from the presence or absence of information.
The Radarlo trademark, logo, source code, database, and all content belong to Radarlo or its licensors. No reproduction, distribution, or derivative works are permitted without written permission.
For requests under the DMCA (US) or Law No. 5651 (Türkiye):
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". No express or implied warranties are given, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radarlo's total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Radarlo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
These limitations do not apply to: wilful misconduct, gross negligence, harm to life or health, and mandatory consumer rights under EU/TR law.
You agree to indemnify Radarlo against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Service.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may delete your account at any time via /legal/request.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction for disputes.
For EU/UK consumers: Mandatory rights under your country's consumer protection law are preserved, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in advance by email or in-app notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
